A dedicated professional bridging education, sports, and special education, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Special Education (University of Maryland, College Park, expected Dec 2024) with research on Black student-athlete identity and success interventions. They hold an M.P.S. in Sports Industry Management (Georgetown University, focus: women’s sports marketing), M.A.T. in Secondary Education (University of Louisville), and B.A. in Integrated Strategic Communications/English (University of Kentucky). Current roles include Associate Professor at Prince George’s Community College (2021–present, teaching academic success courses and leading faculty mentorship programs) and Director of UCS College Programs at Special Olympics Maryland (2024–present, building college partnerships and managing unified sports programs).
