A climate/health data scientist, environmental epidemiologist, and former physicist focusing on climate change and human health. Currently an Associate Professor at National Jewish Health (joint appointments in biomedical research and biostatistics) and Clinical Assistant Professor at Colorado School of Public Health, teaching epidemiology and contributing to climate change-health consortia. Co-founded a data science consulting firm, leading predictive model development. Previously worked at the U.S. EPA (health scientist/statistician) and Duke University (research fellow). Holds a PhD in Physics, M.S. in Statistics from UNC Chapel Hill, and B.S. (High Honors) in Physics/History from Emory University.
