Expertise in mathematical modeling of groundwater contaminant transport and remediation, carbon sequestration, and reactive transport processes. Author of over 110 refereed journal papers and the book In Situ Bioremediation. Former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Contaminant Hydrology. Fellow of the American Geophysical Union (2009). Recipient of numerous teaching and research awards, including the Campus Award for Excellence in Graduate and Professional Teaching (2015).
