Singh is a Teaching Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, joining in 2012. He focuses on thermo-fluids through analytical, experimental, and numerical methods. He aims to equip students with foundational concepts and modern engineering tools for real-world problems. His research develops computer models for turbulent flows and collaborates with the Center for Atmospheric Particle Studies on energy conversion efficiency and environmental impact. Prior to CMU, he worked at General Motors R&D. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin.
