This scholar is a Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at a leading university, with cross-appointments in Materials Science and a center for nonlinear analysis. He earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois and holds degrees in Mining Engineering from the University of Utah and the Indian Institute of Technology.
