I am a Full Professor and Associate Professor (UK) specializing in electrical power and renewable energy systems, with a strong focus on nonlinear control theory and its applications. My PhD research from UNSW Canberra on robust nonlinear control for power system stability set the foundation for a prolific research career, evidenced by over 270 publications, including 113 high-impact journal papers. My work has been cited over 5450 times (H-index: 37). A key achievement is the development of industry-adopted algorithms for fault detection and network balancing in bushfire-prone distribution networks for AusNet Services in Australia. My research, which integrates advanced control techniques with renewable energy integration and smart grids, has attracted substantial competitive funding (totaling over AUD 12.6 million and £1.9 million).
