A ceramic artist and educator with an MFA from Kent State University, I have taught across university, community college, and K-12 settings for over two decades. My teaching spans ceramics, drawing, painting, 3D design, and art history, with a focus on wheel throwing, hand-building, and studio practice. I have held faculty appointments including Assistant Professor at Curry College and served as Head of the Ceramics Department at Northwest Missouri State University, where I renovated studio spaces and implemented improved materials management. My experience includes adjunct instruction, student advising, and gallery installation. I am committed to fostering hands-on, material-based learning, supporting students in developing both technical skills and conceptual understanding. My work bridges studio practice with arts education, emphasizing accessibility, craftsmanship, and creative exploration across diverse learning environments.
