I hold B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physics, a Bachelor of Engineering with coursework in circuits and applied energy systems, and a Ph.D. in Mathematical Modeling and Computational Science. Across my academic career, I have taught engineering, physics, mathematics, and computational modelling courses to STEM and engineering students. My teaching experience includes Electrical Circuits, PCB Design, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, Electric Power Systems, Power System Analysis, Renewable and Distributed Energy Systems, Engineering Project Management, Numerical and Computational Methods, Programming, General Physics, Computational Physics, Geophysics and senior project supervision. My connection with China began in 2007. Since that time, I have had research and teaching collaborations with Peking University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Guilin University of Aerospace Technology, and Hubei Polytechnic University.
