I am an Assistant Professor of Solid and Structural Mechanics at the University of Palermo, as well as a licensed civil engineer and architect in Italy. I hold a PhD from the University of Naples “Federico II” and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Kyoto University. My research spans structural optimization, seismic vibration control, and biomechanics. Currently, my work focuses on the SAMOTHRACE project, where I design bio-inspired soft micro-robots for biomedical applications. As a curious and highly motivated professional, I am always eager to embrace new challenges and seek fresh sources of inspiration.
