His research focuses on lightweight cryptography (hyperelliptic curve-based signcryption), privacy-preserving schemes for IoT/IoV/UAVs, and secure communication in medical IoT (IoMT). He actively contributes to academia as a reviewer for 34 top journals (20+ IEEE journals, Elsevier, Springer) and a Technical Program Committee member for international workshops (e.g., DLWoT 2021/2023). He has also served as a Guest Editor for IET Networks and holds technical expertise in formal security analysis (AVISPA, Scyther) and cryptographic implementation (C++).

a Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomedical Engineering at Shenzhen Technology University, China, with expertise in Computer Vision, Medical Image Processing, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Medical Image Segmentation. He holds a PhD in Information and Communication Engineering (USTC, China, 2018–2022, funded by the Chinese Government Scholarship) and two MSc degrees (Computer Engineering, Near East University; Computer Science, University of Hazara). Khan has published 33 papers (26 in JCR-indexed journals/conferences), with work spanning deep learning for medical imaging (e.g., kidney ultrasound segmentation, liver cancer classification), image captioning, and underwater image restoration. Key projects include developing RenalSegNet for 3D renal tumor/vasculature segmentation and transformative DNNs for low-resolution medical image analysis. His career combines academia (lectureships in Pakistan, research roles in Cyprus/China) and industry (IT support, web development). He has secured merit-based scholarships, won awards like the USTC Future Scientist Exchange Program (2021), and supervised 7 undergraduate projects in AI/Image Processing. Fluent in 4 languages (English, Turkish, Urdu, Chinese), he bridges technical research with clinical application focus.

an Associate Professor at Maastricht University (Netherlands) and a leading Australian/UK research scientist specializing in AI applications in creative domains (e.g., game design, ancient game reconstruction). He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence (Queensland University of Technology, 2009) with a thesis on evolutionary game design—pioneering the first published computer-generated games. As Principal Investigator of the ERC-funded Digital Ludeme Project (2018–2023), he developed the Ludii general game system, a landmark tool for modeling and reconstructing traditional/ancient board games. His career spans academia (Imperial College London, RIKEN Japan) and industry (Microsoft, Canon), with 39 software patents and roles in developing tools like SwishMax. Browne has an h-index of 20, 100+ peer-reviewed papers (including a highly cited 2012 survey on Monte Carlo Tree Search with 3,300+ citations), 7+ books, and 20+ published board games (e.g., Yavalath, the first computer-invented game). He has secured €2M+ in grants (ERC, COST), won awards like the GECCO “Humies” Gold Medal, and led exhibitions (e.g., A World of Games at Sweden’s Museum of World Culture) to bridge AI research and public engagement with game heritage.
